Compare the Contractor

Picking the best contractor is not always easy.  The table enables you to balance price with quality to find the best contractor (as opposed to the cheapest, which is not always the best - see the Low Bid).

Print a copy for each contractor and score each contractor accordingly, totalling up the points you award for quality and price - the highest points shows who is the best contractor - simple and transparent!

Often a balance of 60% for price and 40% for quality is used.  You could adjust the rating accordingly. The table below rates Price at 60% and rates the quality of organisation and resources at 40%.
