Country Landscapes was founded in 1991 predominantly constructing and maintaining domestic gardens.
A switch was made to specialise in maintenance and horticultural services in 1994, a move taken due to the small number of specialists in the domestic maintenance market, and the fact that at the time, although some offered a reasonable service, many firms were unreliable, and had a lack of formal training and little understanding about technical issues.
In 2003, due to a greater level of awareness and demand for good quality gardens, we now also provide quality planting, landscaping and exterior engineering services for those who want to add value to their property.
Armed with extensive knowledge, and proven expertise and craftsmanship, and we strive to provide the best price for the best quality!
Since 1991, we have designed, constructed and maintained hundreds of gardens and premises, and are continuing to offer a dependable service.

Our RHS, NVQ, & City & Guilds Qualified qualified gardeners and landscapers have provided complete gardening services - from garden design, lawn care, gardening maintenance, lawn mowing, low maintenance gardens, hedge trimming, tree surgery and conservation for over 32 years.
Our landscape gardeners and green keeping staff are trained to NVQII as a minimum to ensure they are competent to meet national standards, however, that just covers the basics, and many on our team have been encouraged to achieve higher qualifications, such as NVQ III, City & Guilds Licentiateship (LCGI award) and R.H.S. accreditation, up to degree level.
We also undertake tree pruning and felling, our specialists being qualified in arboriculture & tree work using chainsaw and working at heights.
For safe and effective weed spraying - our staff also qualified to undertake weedkilling - our spraying operatives possess the legally required NPTC certificates including Certificates of Competence to undertaken spraying near to water.
Management are qualified to degree level, also possess Inst. of Safety & Health qualifications to ensure that work onsite is undertaken without risk to you and your family and neighbours.
Country Landscapes has been a proud member of Constructionline, being annually assessed, since 2007. There are various levels of accreditation. Approval in Work Categories allows clients to determine capability based on contract values, work type and policies. Country Landscapes has built up approval in 10 Work Categories (as at 2024) including Grounds Maintenance, Weed Control, Landscaping to Recreational Areas and Public Parks and Artworks, and Land Reclamation, over many years of trading.
Acclaim is a respected Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) Accreditation requiring review and verification of safety policy documentation.
